WINE Cans

Unopened and kept cool and out of direct light, Island Grove's canned wines hold their fresh, fruit-forward character for roughly a year, they're made to be enjoyed young, not aged. Canned wine doesn't spoil like food, but the bright berry flavors are at their best sooner rather than later. Once you crack a can, it's a single serving, so finish it that sitting or cover and refrigerate for a day at most.

Yes! It's the same wine, just in a different package. Our canned Berry Sangria and Blueberry Moscato are the same recipes we bottle, and aluminum actually shields wine from light and oxygen better than a cork does. Because each can is sealed as a single serve, every pour tastes as fresh as the first.

Keep cans somewhere cool and dark, a pantry or the fridge is ideal, and chill them before serving, since these are best cold. Avoid leaving cans in a hot car or direct sun for long stretches, which dulls the flavor over time.

Each can holds 250ml, a little more than a generous glass and a half, so two cans equal a standard 500ml. The Sunshine State Berry Sangria is 11% ABV; the Blueberry Moscato is a lighter 6% ABV.

That's exactly what they're for, anywhere a glass bottle and corkscrew aren't practical: poolside, on the boat, at the beach, camping, picnics, or tailgates. The single-serve can means no opening a whole bottle, nothing to shatter, and no waste. (Always follow local rules about alcohol in public spaces.)
